Position Summary:

We’re seeking a Safety Manager to develop procedures and lead safety protocols. This role involves managing the SAI Safety System, providing training, handling worker’s compensation claims, and ensuring compliance with safety laws across departments functional leaders and to drive continuous process improvement.


Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and develop Safety department personnel.

• Conduct accident prevention and safety training.

• Handle worker’s compensation claims.

• Oversee and improve the company's Safety Program.

• Represent SAI on safety issues and interact with customers.

• Conduct safety audits and evaluate practices for risk assessment.

• Provide direction to QC supervisors, inspectors, safety, and document control personnel.

• Facilitate remedial actions and process improvements.


Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management, Industrial engineering, Technical Management, Occupational Management/Science.

• Safety Management experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

• Risk management and health and safety management certifications.

• Completed 10- or 30-hour OSHA training and certified in First Aid/CPR.

• Effective operational, project management, and leadership skills.

• Proficiency in MS Access, MS Project, Excel, Word, and Outlook.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

• Fluent in English.
