Most deliveries average 300 miles, but some can be upwards of 1100 miles.

*Owner Operator Minimum Requirements: *
* CDL A license required – no airbrake restrictions
* Oversize hauling experience with knowledge of permit requirements
* Must be at least 23 years of age
* Specialized semi-truck (toter) – 20 year or newer in presentable shape with amber rotating light on top
* Truck length should not exceed 28’. Single or tandem axle are acceptable
* Must meet oversize regulation requirements
* Have a valid driver license for the vehicles they will operate
* Valid Passport, passport card, or enhanced driver license for deliveries into or through Canada
* Able to pass a DOT physical and obtain at least 1 year of eligibility on the physical
* Have at least 1 year of verifiable CDL over the road experience if operating a semi-tractor
* Have at least 6 months verifiable experience in operating similar vehicles that you will be operating while under contract or lease with Star Fleet Trucking
* Must be approved by Star Fleet Trucking’s insurance company
* Although Star Fleet Trucking is not a forced dispatch operation, we do expect that independent contractors will assist in getting the customer’s freight to locations that may not always meet your likes.
