Position Overview:
As a Construction Team Supervisor, you will oversee all aspects of renovation and construction projects for Sheetz locations. Your leadership will ensure that projects are executed efficiently and meet the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Mentor and develop team members to enhance their skills and promote internal growth.
  2. Plan and manage all construction activities on-site, collaborating with store and district management to ensure operational continuity and customer satisfaction during project execution.
  3. Conduct thorough inspections of all construction work to verify compliance with Sheetz's construction guidelines and specifications.
  4. Coordinate with local authorities to schedule necessary inspections and ensure adherence to regulations.
  5. Perform daily site inspections to confirm that all safety protocols at local, state, and federal levels are strictly followed.
  6. Process payments for subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring all necessary documentation, such as lien waivers, is obtained.
  7. Efficiently manage the delivery of Sheetz-supplied materials and procure additional building supplies as needed.

Qualifications:

Equivalent combinations of education, licenses, certifications, and/or experience may be considered.

Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Preferred: Two years of trade school education.

Experience:

  • Minimum of three years in commercial construction, with at least one year in a supervisory role.

Licenses/Certifications:

  • Valid Driver's License.
  • CPR and First Aid certification.

Tools & Equipment:

  • Hand tools (e.g., hammers, measuring devices, wrenches).
  • Power tools (e.g., saws, drills, grinders).
  • Pneumatic tools (e.g., compressors, nailers).
  • Welding equipment (e.g., torches, welders).
  • Landscaping tools (e.g., chainsaws, leaf blowers).
  • Motorized equipment (e.g., generators, pressure washers).
  • Heavy machinery (e.g., loaders, lifts).
