We are seeking an experienced Business Development/Marketing person to join our creative team as we continue to grow and expand. If you are a talented professional leader pursuing the benefits of a large corporation with the relaxed atmosphere of a small business, Swath Design is for you

 

Responsibilities:

  • Outreach to and network with prospective clients and key collaborators.
  • Empower and support staff in BD outreach.
  • Coordinate and track BD outreach efforts through HubSpot
  • Identify key BD opportunities with the firm’s leadership team and oversee Go/No-Go processes.
  • Marketing materials: coordinate project photography, copywriting, and page layout design per the firm’s standards.
  • Organize and manage the development and production of responses to RFQ/RFPs and assemble presentation materials.
  • Direct market research on leads, clients, competition, markets, etc.
  • Develop annual marketing strategy, plan, and budget together with the firm’s leadership team.
  • Represent Swath Design in professional organizations such as SMPS, SEGD, CREW, and industry events and conferences.
  • Periodic travel with the firm’s leadership team for client meetings and events.
  • Coordinate website updates and manage LinkedIn and social media content.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Graphic Design, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • Graphic Design experience a plus.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in Business Development, 2+ in AEC industry.
  • The ability to think creatively and strategically.
  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills for effective presentations and interactions with internal/external clients.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills with exceptional networking experience: highly personable and engaging.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, confident, with the ability to take ownership, organize tasks, and manage deadline-driven efforts.
  • Fast, efficient, and flexible with effective problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with HubSpot, MS Office, Illustrator, PhotoShop, InDesign, and Keynote.
  • Experience in production and delivery of video content a plus.
