Accounts Receivable SpecialistWe are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Receivable Specialist to support our finance team. This temporary role focuses on project billing, collections, payment processing, and handling required project paperwork. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable communicating with both internal teams and customers.Responsibilities:Prepare and issue project invoices accurately and on schedule.Ensure billing aligns with project contracts, estimates, and approved change orders.Coordinate with project managers or sales teams regarding missing or updated information.Monitor aging reports and follow up on past-due invoices.Communicate professionally with customers regarding payment status, outstanding balances, and account questions.Document collection activities and escalate problem accounts as needed.Prepare, track, and file lien waivers, insurance requirements, or other project-specific documents.Maintain organized digital and physical files to support billing and compliance.Assist with gathering and submitting documents to customers, vendors, or internal teams.Essential Skills:1+ years of experience in accounts receivable role with volume handling of 30-50 open invoices.Experience utilizing a larger ERP software, such as NetSuite.Proficient in Excel, including sorting, filtering, and basic formulas.Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools.Additional Skills & Qualifications:Experience in the construction industry.Experience in manufacturing and distribution.Work Environment:The role requires working onsite for 5 days a week from 9am to 5pm, with some flexibility in start and end times if needed. The work environment is a small, tight-knit team offering a supportive atmosphere. There is also an opportunity for full-time engagement based on performance.Job Type & Location:This is a Contract position based out of Pitman, NJ.Pay and Benefits:The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.
