The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025.Job DescriptionJob Purpose The Media Strategy & Planning team is seeking a highly motivated individual with a passion for Entertainment. The Manager, Media Strategy & Planning is primarily responsible for supporting the Director, Media Strategy & Planning in the planning and buying process of all paid media plans in support of Peacock and NBC Entertainment titles.Essential ResponsibilitiesSupport the Director, Media Strategy & Planning in the development of paid media strategies and plans for all paid media supported showsAssist in the development of analysis necessary to support media recommendations and decisionsHelp manage analytics and campaign reporting both in-house and with the agency to contribute to building fact-based media strategies and derive optimizations in campaign and for future planningManage the delivery of all creative materials between NBCU production groups, external agency buyers/traffic departments and media vendorsAssist in managing all financial reporting documents associated with the media budgetCoordinate with counterparts across the organization on marketing plans and executionSeek and understand emerging trends and first to market opportunitiesMeet with representatives across the media industry to foster mutually beneficial relationships with all media partners, particularly those within the NBCU familyAssist the larger media team with any ad-hoc projects/requestsQualificationsBasic RequirementsMinimum 4 years of experience in paid media planning and buying with a strong focus on planning digital and TV/StreamingMedia agency experience requiredDesired CharacteristicsBachelor's Degree in Liberal Arts, Marketing, Communications/Advertising, or Media StudiesEntertainment experience preferredStrong knowledge and understanding of the television industry, particularly the Broadcast and Streaming TV businessAn understanding of TV & Digital viewing measurementExtensive knowledge of marketing, advertising and media planning principlesA love of the Entertainment industryAnalytical skills; comfortable distilling data into actionable insights and optimization opportunitiesStrong quantitative skills with the ability to stay organized and manage time wiselyAbility to juggle multiple tasks in a deadline driven, fast paced environmentAdvanced communication skills; able to present ideas clearly and concisely, both written and verbalAbility to work across various teams and departments within an organizationMust have team spirit and be a self-motivator with a proactive nature and collaborative attitudePrevious management experience, including the ability to train staffComputer proficiency particularly with Word, Excel and PowerPointFlexibility to adjust schedule based on workloadAdditional RequirementsHybrid : This position has been designated as hybrid, which currently requires contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week. Beginning January 5, 2026, hybrid employees will be required to work from the office a minimum of four days per week.
