Description
Betches Media is seeking a Director Paid Media & Ad Operations to lead the strategy, execution, and delivery of all paid media, branded content, and podcast advertising campaigns across the business.
This leadership role sits within the Sales & Brand Partnerships team and reports into the Senior Director of Planning & Activation. The Director will oversee both Paid Media and Ad Operations functions, ensuring that campaigns are flawlessly executed, optimised for performance, and delivered on time across social, display, video, and audio platforms.
This person will also manage Podcast Ad Operations, overseeing trafficking, pacing, and reporting for both host-read and dynamically inserted podcast campaigns across Betches' network.
The ideal candidate combines deep platform knowledge with operational excellence and leadership experience, building scalable systems that deliver efficiency, insight, and impact for Betches' brand partners.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end delivery of all branded content, paid media, and podcast campaigns.
- Partner with Sales, Planning, Creative, and Client Solutions to ensure campaigns meet client goals and performance benchmarks.
- Lead Betches' paid media strategy across Meta, TikTok, YouTube, Google, and emerging platforms.
- Build and optimize frameworks for trafficking, QA, pacing, and reporting across all channels.
- Manage Ad Ops workflows, ensuring flawless execution and on-time delivery.
- Oversee podcast ad operations, including host-read and dynamic campaigns, trafficking, and reporting.
- Drive continuous optimization, innovation, and efficiency in campaign setup and buying strategies.
- Mentor and develop the Paid Media and Ad Ops teams, fostering collaboration and accountability.
- Serve as senior point of escalation for campaign performance and client delivery.
- A strategic thinker who help define our paid media strategy internally and also the strategy of our branded content campaigns
Qualifications
- 7–10 years of experience in paid media and/or ad operations within a publisher, agency, or media network.
- Proven track record leading multi-platform paid campaigns across social, video, and digital channels.
- Strong knowledge of ad trafficking and measurement tools (e.g., Google Campaign Manager, Prisma, Megaphone).
- Experience managing podcast ad operations preferred.
- Skilled in campaign pacing, optimization, and reporting.
- Effective leader and communicator with strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Proactive, solutions-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Compensation
The expected annual base salary for this role is $110,000 - $140,000. Final offers for this role will be made within the parameters of the salary range provided. Years of experience, skills, and other factors such as location are considered when determining the salary offered. Total compensation and offer package will include the following perks below.
