Job Overview: As an Account Executive, you will be the primary liaison between our client and hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, and families seeking senior care solutions. Your role is crucial in driving lead generation and facilitating move-ins to senior living communities or arranging in-home care services for families transitioning from healthcare facilities. We are seeking a motivated individual who is adept at building relationships with healthcare professionals and is driven to help families find the best care options for their loved ones.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with healthcare facilities and discharge planners to generate qualified patient referrals on a daily basis, meeting or exceeding monthly quota targets.
  • Develop and nurture a book of accounts in your territory to increase referral volume and drive business growth.
  • Cultivate new contacts within each account through networking, cold calls, and service presentations, reinforcing the value proposition of our client.
  • Educate families on available care options and guide them through the process of selecting the right senior living community or in-home care agency.
  • Work closely with Healthcare Senior Living Advisors to ensure a seamless transition for families into the chosen care option.
  • Pilot new initiatives, tests, and processes in your territory, providing feedback to improve tools and resources.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Three or more years of outside sales experience as an individual contributor.
  • Ideal candidates will have a background in one of the following disciplines. (Hospice, Palliative care, Nursing home, Long Term Care, Hospital-based care)
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas and collaborating with other teams.
  • Experience in presenting to target customers and overcoming objections.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, independent environment with a willingness to adapt and innovate.
  • Strong competitive drive and hunger for learning and improvement.
  • Healthcare/hospital sales experience highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Sheets, and CRM software (Salesforce preferred).
  • Excellent communication skills and effective time management abilities.
  • Willingness to travel locally in your territory (5 days a week).


Additional Information:

Schedule: You will be in the field daily, working with your Regional Director to build your account plan each week. Your time in the field will include scheduled presentations at accounts, calls, and impromptu drop-ins to meet with healthcare professionals and patients being discharged.
