Senior IT Project Manager

Our client has an immediate need for a Senior IT Project Manager, who will act as lead for corresponding programs and projects

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience
  • Experience with managing Ecommerce or ERP Projects
  • Experience with Infrastructure skills
  • Customer facing experience
  • IT Interfaces, EDI, and API experience (part of integrations)
  • Experience with industry standard PPM tools or experience managing projects in MS Project (not just Excel or PowerPoint)
  • Experience planning/organizing/monitoring project performance using appropriate program management tools and techniques in alignment with standards Project Management Framework (i.e. Waterfall and Agile)
  • Strong Project Management skills
  • Experience with PMI Methodology
  • Experience with Manufacturing and/or Image management
  • PMP Certification is a plus


Responsibilities:

  • Performing project management responsibilities relating to information technology implementations, upgrades, conversion, and business driven initiatives
  • Partnering with IT and Business leadership, functional teams, and SMEs to create business requirements for technology solutions
  • Assisting with technology estimates and managing low to moderate-complexity technology solutions for projects to full-scale deployment in a live environment
  • Managing timelines and communicating project status to various levels of internal stakeholders
  • Using the right questions and tools to uncover root causes of business challenges, identifying opportunities, and making recommendations.
  • Identifying and communicating risks and issues impacting business rules, functional requirements, and specifications
  • Participating in managing the scope of applications and related changes
  • Collaborating with stakeholders on the evaluation of the feasibility, effort, and costs of implementing requirements
  • Interacting with internal and external peers and managers to exchange information related to areas of specialization
  • Serving as a liaison between development, quality assurance, and non-technical stakeholders during the development and deployment process
  • Building positive give-and-take relationships with stakeholders
