QUAD is seeking a Manufacturing Finance Manager for a Reading, PA area client. Hybrid work environment.
The Finance Manager will have five direct reports and will be responding for financial reporting, forecasting preparation, budget development, and other operational finance functions.
Responsibilities:
The Finance Manager will be responsible for:
- Coordinating accounts payable cutoff, general ledger entries preparation, inventory valuation, and other aspects of month end reporting
- Performing forecasts and budget consolidation and review
- Overseeing plant reporting system implementation and maintenance
- Performing plant data analysis and recommending cost reduction opportunities
- Completing regular monitoring and review of accounting controls and implanting changes as needed
- Reconciling and analyzing transportation reserve, parts and supplies inventory, and other plant accounts
- Overseeing physical inventories
- Creating reports documenting variances of actual versus budget amounts for labor and plant operating budgets and raw materials
Skills/Competencies:
The ideal Finance Manager will possess these skills:
- Bachelor’s degree; CMA/CPA preferred
- 5-8 years related experience within a manufacturing environment
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- Forecasting, management reporting, product costing, and budget preparation experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- ERP systems experience
Additional Details:
Salary: to $140k + bonus
Employment Type: Direct Hire
Travel: to 25%
Salary: to$140/yr. The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the education, experience, location and skill set of the individual selected for this position.
