Our startup client in the wearable/health space is in need of a Senior UX / Graphic Designer to join their team for a 6+ month contract, 40 hours/week with the intent to convert to full-time for the right fit.


The primary responsibilities for this Senior UX / Graphic Designer role include:


- Oversee and drive design efforts across UX/UI/ID

- Conduct and apply advanced research to inform design strategy

- Lead complex design projects from concept to execution, including usability testing, A/B testing, user journey mapping, to wireframing, creating user flows, and high-fidelity prototyping

- Define and drive UX architecture and UI flow for major product initiatives

- Present and justify design decisions to senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams

- Mentor and develop the skills of entry and intermediate-level designers

- Collaborate closely with other departments, including engineering and regulatory teams, to ensure cohesive and compliant design outcomes

- Lead user testing and studies, providing strategic insights to improve product designs

- Develop design documentation to support regulatory needs

- Assist on brand and marketing projects as needed.


The successful Senior UX / Graphic Designer has:


-Bachelor's degree in UX, Product Design, Graphic Design, or a related field (Master's preferred

- 7-10 years of experience leading complex UX/UI design projects across multiple platforms

- Experience in designing for multiple devices and platforms (web, mobile, desktop)

- Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma, and Sketch

- Figma, Jira, Confluence

- Proven ability to think strategically and align design initiatives with business goals

- Experience in working with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure design intent and quality are maintained throughout the development process
