About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior User Experience Designer to join our team at Early Warning Services. As a key member of our Product team, you will be responsible for designing intuitive, innovative, and beautiful products that meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design of user experiences for our Consumer, B2B, and B2B2C products, working closely with cross-functional teams such as Engineering, Product, Analytics, and Senior Management.
  • Develop and present design ideas in a large team environment, ensuring that they are well-researched, user-centered, and visually appealing.
  • Collaborate with designers, researchers, and content strategists to create high-quality, usable, and simple products that meet the needs of our customers.
  • Frame problems through a strategic lens to inform solutions, and explore divergent perspectives to inform design decisions.
  • Prioritize customer-first outcomes in decision-making conversations, and participate in and occasionally lead user research sessions.
  • Guide teams in distilling customer feedback into product ideas and refinements, and proactively address situations of ambiguity to keep teammates inspired and productive.
  • Share work regularly to advance the role of design across our organization, and support the company's commitment to risk management and protecting the integrity and confidentiality of systems and data.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in UX/UI Design, Research, or related fields.
  • 5+ years of work experience with a focus on product design and UI across a variety of platforms, including web, and mobile.
  • Demonstrable success as a designer with complex, data-intensive products and services, and a strong online design portfolio.
  • Command of visual and communication design principles, and experience in designing mobile app experiences from start to finish as a product designer.
  • Enthusiasm for an iterative design process inspired by group critique, and a great eye for detail and creative problem-solving.
  • Ability to contribute to detailed product requirements, and highly skilled in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, and Photoshop.
  • Able to clearly communicate concepts and designs through sketches, wireframes, high-fidelity comps, and prototypes, and function independently and in a team environment with solid collaboration skills.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to stay highly organized, with excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $110,000 - $130,000 per year, depending on location, as well as a discretionary bonus and benefits package that includes healthcare coverage, 401(k) retirement plan, paid time off, and more.
