Performance Marketing Manager

Our growth has been amazing, but the most exciting part is where we can be in the very near future For the next phase of growth, we’re excited to announce a new position for the company as a Performance Marketing Manager that will be pivotal in growing our customer base 10x.

Our offering, in simplistic terms gives companies the ability to synthesize their internal data in an easy to use, no code format (if you can upload a profile picture, you can use CustomGPT), and with the power of AI, allow customers to access that data in a very intuitive, targeted way like never before. Our customer base is undefined, essentially if you provide solutions to consumers, CustomGPT will be a game changer for your business


Position Summary

The Performance Marketing Manager will be responsible for overseeing and implementing online marketing campaigns aimed at driving measurable results, such as increased website traffic, lead generation, or sales. The primary focus will be on utilizing digital channels effectively to optimize campaign performance and achieve specific objectives:

  • Campaign Strategy Development: Develop strategic plans for digital marketing campaigns based on the company's goals, target audience, and budget.
  • Channel Selection and Optimization: Select appropriate digital marketing channels such as search engine marketing (SEM), social media advertising, display advertising, affiliate marketing, and email marketing, and continuously optimize them for better performance.
  • Budget Management: They manage the budget allocated for digital marketing campaigns, ensuring efficient allocation across channels to maximize return on investment (ROI).
  • Campaign Execution: They oversee the implementation of marketing campaigns, including creating ad creatives, setting up targeting parameters, and launching campaigns on various platforms.
  • Data Analysis and Performance Tracking: They monitor campaign performance metrics such as click-through rates (CTR), conversion rates, cost per acquisition (CPA), and return on ad spend (ROAS). Based on data analysis, they make adjustments to campaigns to improve performance.
  • Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams: They work closely with teams such as product development, sales, and creative to align marketing efforts with overall business objectives and ensure consistency in messaging.
  • Market Research and Competitive Analysis: They stay updated on industry trends, conduct market research, and analyze competitors to identify new opportunities and stay ahead in the market.
  • Reporting and Communication: They prepare regular reports on campaign performance and communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders, including senior management.


Who we’re looking for:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years in digital marketing, with a strong focus on performance marketing
  • Proven track record of managing significant advertising budgets
  • Experience in SaaS or tech-related industries (preferred)
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with marketing metrics.
  • Proficiency in Google Ads, Bing Ads, social media advertising platforms, and analytics tools
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics, or related field (preferred)

No visa sponsorship: We are not in a position to sponsor work (or green card) visas. US citizenship or green card is required

No remote work: This job is for an in-person role at our Needham, MA office. We’re a highly collaborative group, and find that in-person interaction is best for our cohesive culture.
