The short version is: this job is for an Assistant who already knows how to predict what will help a busy executive during his day, and doing those things without being asked - because you have recent experience (within the past 2 years or less) as a Personal Assistant or an Executive Assistant.


The longer version is that you will be responsible for things like:

  • Finding ways to take tasks off my plate and keep me organized
  • Being at ease with alternating between tasks, then following up and completing them (I lead a somewhat fast-paced life, so left to my own devices I may forget half of what we discuss - so I need you to always be completing tasks)
  • Online researching to quickly find accurate answers to questions
  • Running personal errands efficiently
  • Being a great personal shopper (food, clothes, furniture)
  • Finding ways to save the company money
  • Getting this done quickly, effectively and professionally
  • Clearly communicating daily actions, and creating checklists that track your progress on all projects
  • Being great at trip coordination: itineraries, planning, booking, miscellaneous preparations
  • Managing Outlook Emails and Calendar
  • Forecasting & time management: calendar planner and to-do checklists
  • Locating, screening, and negotiating with vendors for the house
  • Handling house tasks and keeping things clean as needed
  • Shopping the best prices for all personal and company expenses
  • Displaying good judgment, courtesy, and diplomacy at all times
  • Priding yourself on being self-motivated and self-organized with a solid ability to multi-task
  • Decluttering office, filing paperwork
  • Loving new challenges and responsibilities
  • Optional but would be nice: an understanding of Online Marketing and/or Social Media


This job requires you to have a High School Diploma or GED and a dependable vehicle, driver's license, social security number, and recent REFERENCES as a Personal Assistant or Executive Assistant, or references performing a job like this one for at least 1-2 years.


Most work will be performed from a home office in Lake Worth FL, but there will be many tasks that require you to run errands around town.


This job is an Independent Contractor position and starts at $5,000/month for a qualified candidate. Some days may be busier than others but most weeks may include at least 40-hours of projects. An assistant is expected to be within reach in case something comes up and needs to be able to complete tasks with short notice.
