Pride Health is hiring a Purchasing Assistant for one of its clients in North Carolina.

This is a 3-month contract with a possible extension with competitive pay and benefits.


Location – Greensboro, North Carolina– 27401

Pay range - $23 - $28 per hour.

Length of assignment – 3 months (With possible extension)

Shift – Mon- Fri (8 Am to 5 pm)


Job Duties

  • Vendor Communication: Communicate with vendors to obtain quotes, negotiate pricing, and place orders for goods and services.
  • Purchase Order Processing: Assist in the creation and processing of purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and reorder supplies as needed to maintain optimal stock levels while minimizing excess inventory.
  • Price Comparisons: Conduct research to compare prices, quality, and delivery options from various suppliers to identify the best value for the organization.
  • Supplier Relations: Build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers, addressing any issues or concerns promptly and effectively.
  • Documentation and Filing: Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and correspondence with vendors, ensuring proper documentation and filing for easy retrieval.
  • Delivery Coordination: Coordinate delivery schedules with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely receipt of goods and services.
  • Invoice Processing: Assist with invoice verification, reconciliation, and processing to facilitate timely payment to vendors.
  • Budget Monitoring: Assist in monitoring departmental budgets related to purchasing activities, identifying variances and opportunities for cost savings.
  • Compliance Monitoring: Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to purchasing and procurement activities.


Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 5+ years health care procurement - supply chain experience
  • Excellent Excel skills
  • Lawson - Infor experience
  • GHX experience is preferred
  • COVID-19 and Flu vaccine is required.
