We are currently seeking an Account Manager - Events & Marketing to join the 300Brand team, which includes MeriTalk () and 11mark (11mark.com). Candidates should bring demonstrated experience managing and executing events. Experience with marketing and communications programs for government IT clients, and a passion for improving government mission outcomes is a plus.


Position is mostly teleworked, but the candidate must live in the DC-metro area to assist with preparation for events and attend in person events.

What you’ll do:


  • Design and implement client projects including small-to large-size events
  • Lead project management for full events including oversight of attendee marketing and website development, registration, program development including abstracts and moderator questions, logistics for in-person events, speaker outreach and preparation, and sponsor management
  • Execute digital marketing and demand generation campaigns (content marketing, research-based programs) -- promoting via email marketing, advertising, newsletters, social media
  • Maintain proactive, clear, and consistent communication with client including driving deadlines against project timeline
  • Deliver highly responsive service and build positive relationships with key stakeholders (internal and external)
  • Manage project timelines and budgets – coordinate on tasks with other internal teams (research, creative, content, sales)
  • Analyze progress against goals and outcomes; have ability to course correct when needed and coach/guide event teams
  • Oversight of multi-client programs including oversight of deliverables execution for multiple sponsors
  • Draft/edit summary and recap reports
  • Contributes to excellent client, sponsor, attendee, and speaker experiences
  • Recommend effective marketing and communications solutions to meet goals; manage program deliverables
  • Contribute ideas to program development for the client and for new business proposals
  • Maintain awareness and understanding of 300Brand’s portfolio of services
  • Contribute to account direction and growth
  • Coach and guide team members; support staff growth, development, happiness

Anticipated Salary starting at $80k, commensurate with experience.
