Job Description
This temporary position is responsible to the act as the Administrative Assistant for the SCTCC Foundation in implementation of marketing and development strategic plans to support the goals of the college.
Salary Range: $20.45 - $27.12
Minimum Qualifications
Knowledge of:
- English sufficient to perform the job duties described below using reading, writing and speaking skills
- Spreadsheet, data base management, and word processing software sufficient to create, format, edit, print, and save a variety of documents including letters, email messages, and spreadsheets
- Basic accounting procedures sufficient to monitor budgets and to reconcile accounts
Ability to:
- Input data quickly and accurately
- Type/keyboard a variety of documents accurately at 40 wpm with five or less errors
Skill in:
- Customer service sufficient to provide prompt, courteous and accurate information to customers in person, on the phone, and through email and other written correspondence
- Database management sufficient to develop and accurately enter information into a database and produce ad-hoc queries and reports for management's use
Preferred Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in related field
- Knowledge of fund development, financial recordkeeping, marketing, and grant-writing.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the work environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Power Point, Word and Excel)
- Proofreading and editing skills
- Raiser's Edge software knowledge or training.
Other Requirements
In accordance with the Minnesota State Colleges & Universities (Minnesota State) Vehicle Fleet Safety Program, employees driving on college/university business who use a rental or state vehicle shall be required to conform to Minnesota State's vehicle use criteria and consent to a Motor Vehicle Records check.
