Controls Technician

Are you a skilled Controls Technician with a passion for innovation and excellence in building automation systems? Come be a part of a dynamic team dedicated to delivering superior automation control systems and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Start-Up and Troubleshooting: Lead the start-up and troubleshooting of automation control systems, including air distribution equipment, air handlers, valves, variable speed equipment, exhaust systems, lighting, chill water, and boiler systems.

Project Execution: Work on projects involving replacement, renovation, or retrofit of building HVAC systems.

Customer Service Excellence: Demonstrate a commitment to providing innovative and superior building automation systems and outstanding customer service.

Technical Expertise: Gain proficiency in the Reliable Product line and installation methods, HVAC and electrical systems, and controller hardware setup.

Communication and Teamwork: Maintain effective communication with project managers and team members to ensure seamless project execution.

Material Management: Oversee material management and chain of custody.

Device and System Setup: Handle point-to-point setups, including end devices on boxes and fan coils, MSET MPC and Cradle Point setups, and checkout of terminal units and AHUs.

Troubleshooting: Perform basic troubleshooting and sequence checks on terminal units and fan coils.

Documentation: Maintain checkout books, checkout sheets, and redline submittals to ensure accurate and organized documentation.

Qualifications:

Technical Skills: Strong technical aptitude with knowledge in HVAC controls concepts, HVAC equipment, electrical systems, controls installation, and computer networking.

Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Software Proficiency: Experienced with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Visio.
