Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Systems Technician to join our team at Johnson Controls. As an Electrical Systems Technician, you will be responsible for installing, testing, and maintaining electrical systems and control panels in accordance with industry standards and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and test electrical systems, including wiring and control panels, to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems and control panels to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement electrical systems and control panels that meet company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement procedures for testing and inspecting electrical systems and control panels to ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical systems installation, testing, and maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical codes and regulations, including NEC and UL standards.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Working Conditions:

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with frequent exposure to noise, dirt, dust, and extreme temperatures. The successful candidate will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow all safety protocols.
