A National Engineering & Design Firm seeks a Project Manager for their Construction Engineering and Inspection Division .
Responsibilities:
- Manage projects for NJDOT/NJTA, PANYNJ, and other public agencies.
- Oversee all Construction Inspection projects, ensuring they meet financial goals, timelines, and budgets.
- Provide guidance to inspection staff and handle change orders, payments, and project closeouts.
- Review and approve shop drawings, plans, and specifications for various construction projects.
- Collaborate with client technical staff and project managers on technical approaches and project decisions.
- Prepare technical and cost proposals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) certification (preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in engineering, with a focus on transportation and construction.
- Strong understanding of project management, contract terms, and conditions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
