Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Water Resources Engineer to join our team in Mt. Laurel, NJ, and contribute to transportation engineering projects in the Fluvial and Coastal environment.

H&H is a trusted full-service infrastructure engineering firm with over 137 years of experience. Our clients rely on us for intricate and innovative engineering solutions, and we manage the entire life cycle of a project from study and planning to design and construction.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with hydrologic and hydraulic design calculations for stormwater management systems and/or bridge hydraulic and floodplain studies.
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate design work with the group.
  • Review plans, details, and prepare or review technical specifications, contract documents, and cost estimates.
  • Support and coordinate with Highway, Structural, and Geotechnical Engineer design teams.

Requirements:

  • BS in Civil Engineering.
  • Detailed-oriented, self-starter comfortable working in a team environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong Math Skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Experience with HEC-RAS, HY-8, SRH-2D, HydroCAD, AutoDesk Storm and Sanitary Analysis, MicroStation, and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Familiarity with FHWA, USACE, and AASHTO design guidance is desirable.
  • FE/EIT (preferred).
