  • Manage financial risks and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Provide strategic financial advice to the executive team and board of directors.
  • Lead the financial planning and analysis process, including cash flow management and capital allocation.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors, banks, and investors.
  • Oversee real estate tax matters, including 1031 exchanges and reverse exchanges, ensuring compliance and optimizing tax strategies.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure strong financial controls and governance frameworks are in place.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • Extensive experience in real estate investments, property management, and lending.
  • Strong knowledge of real estate tax, including 1031 exchanges and reverse exchanges.
  • Proven track record of quality leadership with strong job stability.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly and concisely.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and provide sound financial guidance.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.
