Digital Product Manager

Our client is seeking a dynamic and strategic Digital Product Manager to join their team on a hybrid basis in the western suburbs of Illinois. This individual will play a critical role in defining, developing and optimizing our client's digital products, ensuring they align with their business goals and deliver an exceptional user experience.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product management, a deep understanding of digital technologies and a passion for driving innovation in the beauty industry. This is a contract position and would require to be onsite 3 days a week.

Digital Product Manager Responsibilities:

  • Develop and articulate a clear product vision and strategy that aligns with brand guideline and goals
  • Create and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap, prioritizing initiatives based on business value, customer needs and market trends
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders including marketing, sales, customer service and IT to gather requirements and ensure alignment on product objectives
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between stakeholders and the development team, facilitating clear and consistent communication
  • Lead sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives, ensuring the development team understands priorities and delivers high-quality work
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create engaging and user-friendly interfaces
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for product launches, working closely with marketing and sales teams
  • Gather and analyze customer feedback post-launch to identify areas for improvement and drive future iterations


Digital Product Manager Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Marketing or related field. MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus
  • 5+ years of experience in digital product management, preferably within the retail or beauty industry
  • Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience with Scrum practices
  • Excellent analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making
  • Proficiency in using product management tools such as JIRA, Confluence or similar platforms
  • A deep understanding of the digital landscape, including web and mobile technologies
