We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Sales Manager to join our sales team. This is a remote position based in the Midwest. The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years of technical sales experience and a proven ability to cultivate and maintain strong industry relationships.
SUMMARY
As a Midwest Regional Sales Manager at BWT Pharma & Biotech Inc., you will be responsible for new client acquisition, management, and growth of our current client relationships in the Midwest Territory. Your ability to build strong partnerships, meet/exceed sales quotas, and represent BWT at trade shows and networking events will be essential. If you thrive in a developing territory and have a track record of success, we encourage you to apply. This position will use their technical and business knowledge to develop and deliver profitable initiatives and build sales for this assigned territory. This position reports directly to the Business Development Director. This position is remote, but preference is toward candidates local to areas of the Midwestern States, including Indianapolis, Cincinnati, Chicago, Kansas City, and St. Louis.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & FUNCTIONS
•Leverage Prospecting and Networking to develop relationships with existing and potential customers.
•Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, fully understanding their long-term goals and needs and tailoring solutions to meet their requirements.
•Apply your experience to meet or exceed quarterly and annual goals consistently.
•Utilize your excellent networking skills to identify new business opportunities, build industry partner relationships, and collect leads for Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
•Take ownership of the Midwest Territory, which includes Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, and Wisconsin.
•Fully understand the competitive landscape and communicate competitive strategy to Business Development Director
•Represent BWT Pharma & Biotech at industry trade shows, social gatherings, and networking events
•Develop marketing and sales plans, set objectives, and identify methods to reach goals.
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional service.
•Deliver presentations, conduct seminars, and meet with clients and external vendors to expand their knowledge of our equipment.
•Review Commercial & Contractual Conditions for project bids in the Territory
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

REQUIRED EDUCATION
•Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science
•Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in Technical Sales for water treatment or biotech clean utilities/biotech capital equipment engineering/design, bioprocess sciences, and/or applications
TELECOMMUTING/TRAVEL
This role will involve telecommuting/remote work and maintaining an on-site presence with customers and partners as required. This position is required to be in the Midwest Region and requires 25% travel in the US. Some travel to the Head office in Marlborough, MA may be required for meetings and training.
