Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance operations at our Whitestown, IN facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all equipment, machinery, and facilities are maintained in optimal working condition to support our fast-paced and dynamic business environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance Oversight: Manage and supervise all maintenance activities including preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance tasks to ensure the operational efficiency of machinery, equipment, and facilities.
  • Team Management: Lead, train, and develop a team of maintenance technicians and staff. Schedule and assign tasks, monitor performance, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources. Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure all maintenance operations comply with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards. Conduct regular safety inspections and implement necessary corrective actions.
  • Vendor Management: Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance services and repairs. Negotiate contracts and manage relationships to ensure quality service and timely completion of tasks.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues promptly to minimize downtime and operational disruptions.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and inventory of parts and supplies. Generate regular reports on maintenance performance and activities.
  • Continuous Improvement: Implement and support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance processes, reduce downtime, and increase overall operational efficiency.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field preferred. Alternatively, relevant certifications combined with extensive experience may be considered.
  • Proven experience (3+ years) in maintenance management, preferably in a fast-paced manufacturing or distribution environment.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, as well as building maintenance.
  • Experience in managing and developing teams, with excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in using maintenance management software and other relevant tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Pay: $115K with 10% bonus incentive
