Our client, a CPG organizations, is dedicated to innovation and operational excellence and need to hire a strategic Senior Director of Enterprise Data, Architecture & Integration to establish and implement enterprise architecture principles along with a cohesive strategy and operating model for enterprise data management and advanced analytics that aligns with the digital transformation objectives of the company.

This role is instrumental in the cloud first, centralized data, modern digital core for business optimization and processes, will report directly to the Chief Digital Officer and have 4 direct reports.


The current phase of this multi-year initiative entails consolidation of multiple ERPs systems, replacement of several enterprise applications, establishing enterprise master data management and enterprise data governance and ensuring the ongoing support model for business and technology ownership of cloud based systems and data solutions.

Strong background in data including; integration, architecture and ERP will be necessary.

Responsibilities include:

  • Validate and refine enterprise architecture & engineering principles (namely data architecture and engineering and a services layer strategy) to ensure the ongoing enablement and success of digital business initiatives beyond ERP.
  • Partner with IT and business leaders as well as system integration partners to deliver the ERP along with the core platforms & integrations supporting the data and integration strategy for the enterprise.
  • Ensure a sustainable resource and cost model for data and integration capabilities (both build and support).

Strategic Leadership & Program Execution:

  • Lead the solution strategy for modernizing and standardizing core business processes (Supply Chain, Finance, Manufacturing) creating a scalable, data-driven growth strategy.
  • Successfully transition from legacy ERP systems to a unified global system, ensuring seamless processes, data integration, and continuous improvement.
  • Participate in governance forums as required.

Data & Analytics Governance:

  • Evolve the maturity of the enterprise data foundation, ensuring support of Master Data Management (MDM)
  • Strengthen the Data & Analytics (D&A) program, emphasizing governance, delivery, and the development of AI-ready data strategies and solutions.

Technical Leadership & Ongoing Delivery

  • Technical lead in ongoing data, integration, and architecture workstreams

Vendor & Resource Management:

  • Direct the work of the MDM Manager, Data Engineer, and Data & Analytics Lead, and outsourced data engineering partners and consultants.

Architectural Leadership:

  • Design and implement the data architecture for the ERP


Requirements:

  • 10+ years’ experience in information technology with experience defining & implementing enterprise architecture principles and the ability to tailor for mid size companies.
  • Experience with greenfield data strategy, governance and foundational concepts for data architecture and engineering, AI & ML
  • Experience with data integration architecture and engineering in a Buy and Integrate ecosystem
  • Experience in ERP transformations, with a strong emphasis on Oracle Fusion ERP.
  • Strong understanding of Cloud ERP solutions and proficiency in Data integration with tools like; MDM, Profisee, Informatica, etc.
  • Deep understanding of enterprise data architecture, integration strategies, and the latest advancements in AI and analytics.
  • Experience in vendor management, including working with outsourced data providers.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders and project teams.
  • Demonstrated experience in defining systems strategy, gathering and documenting business requirements, leading fit-gap analysis, as-is and to- be business process designs, conference room pilots (CRPs) functional configuration, testing, client user training
  • Experience working in CPG, FMCG, Manufacturing, Retail, Pharma, Commercial Health industries highly preferred
