Our client is dedicated to innovation and operational excellence and need to hire a strategic Data Solution Architect to help provide the leadership and expertise to drive the journey forward.

The Architect will drive the architecture, design, and implementation of Oracle Cloud ERP solutions, ensuring seamless integration between SCM and Finance modules to optimize business processes, enhance operational efficiency, and support strategic decision-making.

This role will report directly to the Chief Digital Officer and responsible for guiding the technical direction to ensure the successful integration of ERP systems.

*Initial focus will be on the 2nd phase Oracle Conference room pilot (CRP), leading into system integration testing. The initial release includes the critical manufacturing segment, which represents majority of the company's revenue.

This is a contract to hire role.

Responsibilities include:

Responsible for overseeing the design and implementation of data management strategies within the ERP system. Focus specifically on how the Oracle ERP handles master data, data quality, and integration with analytics tools.

Ensuring that MDM processes, data quality protocols, and analytics capabilities are correctly implemented and validated during the CRP.


Strategic Oversight:

  • Lead and direct the technical strategy for integrating multiple ERP systems, ensuring a cohesive approach for data migration, cloud adoption, and application integration.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive plan to address and resolve technical challenges associated with the ERP consolidation.

Architectural Leadership:

  • Design and implement the system architecture for the ERP integration, focusing on ensuring a smooth transition from the second conference room pilot to system integration testing.
  • Coordinate with technical vendors to establish a cohesive plan for data integration, addressing current gaps and ensuring alignment with project goals.

Technical Direction:

  • Provide expert guidance and leadership to project teams, managing the technical aspects of the ERP implementation and addressing complex technical issues.
  • Ensure the technical aspects of the project meet the go-live requirements, with minimal room for failure.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with stakeholders and SI partners to ensure effective communication and alignment throughout the project.
  • Prepare and present technical reports, updates, and recommendations to senior management.

Risk Management:

  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks related to the technical implementation, focusing on preventing issues that could impact the go-live date and subsequent global rollout.


Requirements:

  • 10+ years’ experience in information technology with experience as an Architect with extensive experience in data solutions for analytics including cloud transformation, application integration, and data management.
  • Strong understanding of Oracle Cloud ERP solutions and proficiency in Data integration with tools like; Profisee, Informatica, etc.
  • Proven experience with enterprise data management, maintaining data quality, and supporting analytics solutions before moving to subsequent phases of implementation.
  • Experience in vendor management, including working with outsourced data providers.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders and project teams.
  • Demonstrated experience in defining systems strategy, gathering and documenting business requirements, leading fit-gap analysis, as-is and to- be business process designs, conference room pilots (CRPs) functional configuration, testing, client user training
  • Experience working in CPG, FMCG, Retail, Pharma industries highly preferred
