The Production Manager will lead the fabrication, finishing, and assembly teams to consistently meet customer demand. Your role will be crucial in executing the production schedule to deliver products that meet Juniper’s quality, cost, and delivery performance requirements. You will monitor and manage capacity in all areas to support the production plan and ensure on-time order delivery. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Maintain a collaborative, engaged production team focused on quality, throughput, and productivity.
  • Plan, organize, and coordinate daily activities to meet production goals and maintain product quality per Juniper standards.
  • Establish standard operating procedures to ensure process consistency and quality.
  • Train and supervise staff to meet safety, quality, and productivity requirements.
  • Establish and maintain cross-training requirements within and across production departments.
  • Establish clear performance expectations for team members, provide ongoing performance feedback, address improvement areas, and identify development opportunities for top performers.
  • Establish and maintain performance metrics related to quality, cost, and delivery.
  • Monitor production performance and utilize data to identify and implement improvements.


Minimum Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent education and experience.
  • Minimum five years’ experience in a manufacturing leadership role.
  • Lean manufacturing experience.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with metalworking processes, equipment, mechanical systems, and electro-mechanical assembly practices.
  • Working knowledge of CNC machining practices and equipment preferred
  • Experience utilizing MRP/ERP systems.
  • Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
