We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Civil Engineer to join our team as a Project Manager.


Job Duties:

- Lead the design team in preparing and permitting construction documents for assigned projects, ensuring all work meets the highest standards of quality and compliance.

- Perform routine engineering tasks with professional proficiency, coordinating design efforts with clients, regulatory agencies, local municipalities, contractors, and other project consultants.

- Conduct investigations and research, applying engineering processes to support planning efforts and drive informed design decisions.

- Maintain a proactive approach to project management, ensuring that all deliverables are met on time and within scope.

- Uphold engineering ethics and standards of conduct, contributing to the company’s reputation for excellence.


Job Details:

- Apply standard engineering practices and techniques, including planning, design, and production of engineering drawings, and supervise their creation.

- Prepare and assemble specifications and permit application packages with attention to detail and accuracy.

- Conduct engineering investigations and research to support project planning and production efforts, including data collection, routine calculations, and evaluating the feasibility of alternative solutions.

- Prepare technical reports and presentations that effectively communicate complex information to stakeholders.

- Provide construction administration support, including reviewing shop drawings, attending meetings, and resolving field conflicts.

- Perform data acquisition and analysis, researching the feasibility of alternative design approaches, site conditions, and regulatory requirements.

- Conduct engineering calculations, analyze design solutions, and perform field observations as needed.

- Take on additional duties as assigned by your supervisor, contributing to the overall success of the team.


Qualifications:

- Minimum of 6 years of civil engineering or related experience.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to develop technical documents.

- Valid driver’s license required.

- Proficiency with standard Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, etc.) is essential; knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D is preferred.

- Experience with civil engineering design software (e.g., WaterCAD, SewerCAD, ICPR, PONDS, HydroCAD) is highly desired.

- A Florida Professional Engineering license is required.

- Prior project management experience is preferred but not required.


Education:

- B.S. in Civil Engineering required. A minimum of 8 years of qualifying experience in land development engineering is also required, along with a Bachelor’s Degree directly related to civil engineering.


Compensation:

$140-$180K
