Title: Manufacturing Engineer

Location: Franklin, IN (100% Onsite)

Employment Type: Fulltime Permanent with AXISCADES.


Position Overview


The Manufacturing Engineer will focus on implementing new manufacturing processes, creating standardized work documentation, supporting machine startups, and handling validation and PPAP documentation.


Job Responsibilities


Create and standardize work documentation.

Support new machine startup and process implementation.

Conduct validation and create PPAP documentation.

Engage in gauge R&R, process layout, and 5S design. Support New Product Introduction (NPI) process with cross-functional teams.


Education & Experience Required


Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.

Alternative Qualifications

Associate's degree with over 7 years of experience.

Master's degree with less than 5 years of experience.


Technical Skills Required


Understanding of part prints & designs.

Ability to create FMEA & Control plans.

Basic knowledge of gauging & part inspection.


Technical Skills Desired


Experience in designing & implementing manufacturing processes.

Lean manufacturing experience.

Automation experience.

Strong safety & ergonomic understanding for manufacturing processes.

Proficiency in time management.

Skills in equipment installation & troubleshooting.

CAD Tool design.


Soft Skills


Team player with good written and verbal communication skills.

Strong work ethic.
