JOOLA is for looking for an experienced Sales Representative with a passion for growth and interest in pickleball and table tennis


JOOLA was first established in 1952 and built a global reputation as a pioneer in table tennis. In 2022, JOOLA expanded into the rapidly growing pickleball scene and quickly attracted the biggest names in the sport. As an official table tennis sponsor for three Summer Olympic Games and the official sponsor of pickleball's top athletes and the Professional Pickleball Association (PPA), the team at JOOLA combines its storied expertise with fresh perspectives to bring innovation to both sports. JOOLA creates a variety of equipment, apparel, and accessories for both table tennis and pickleball players, professional and recreational. With offices in US, Germany, Brazil, and China, JOOLA has a global presence and wide distributor network.


We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team. The Sales Representative will be responsible for driving and cultivating new business opportunities in the pickleball space, as well as maintaining relationships with existing clients.


Responsibilities:

  • Research and identify potential pickleball clients and market segments.
  • Generate leads through cold calling, networking, and other outreach efforts.
  • Qualify leads and prioritize opportunities based on potential for business growth.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, requests, and concerns.
  • Follow up with clients regularly to ensure satisfaction and identify additional needs.
  • Travel to different pickleball events and tournaments and network with potential clients
  • Collaborate with the sales team and management to optimize sales processes and strategies.
  • Develop a deep understanding of JOOLA’s pickleball product offerings, including features, benefits, and specifications.
  • Provide product demonstrations and recommendations to customers based on their skill level, playing style, and preferences.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, new product releases, and competitive offerings.
  • Track and report on sales activities, pipeline progress, and performance metrics.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Additional tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

  • 5-10 years of experience in sales or business development, with a successful track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Sales experience in the pickleball or sporting industry is highly preferred.
  • Passion for pickleball and a strong understanding of the game, including rules, techniques, and equipment.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish credibility with clients.
  • Excellent negotiation and closing skills, with a focus on delivering value to clients and achieving win-win outcomes.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
