Overview

As the Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial health of the organization. You will be responsible for overseeing the monthly financial processes, conducting thorough analysis, and collaborating with key stakeholders to drive financial performance and strategic decision-making. This position requires a proactive, innovative individual who excels in a fast-paced environment and can communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.


Essential Responsibilities:

  • Run monthly financial packages, departmental spend reviews, detailed variance analysis with a high degree of accuracy and timeliness.
  • Run the annual budget and recurring forecast process.
  • Support the monthly close process.
  • Partner with key stakeholders to ensure successful financial performance, challenge the status quo, and appropriately communicate risks and opportunities.
  • Acquire and maintain thorough understanding of the strategies, business issues, and profitability opportunities to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.
  • Provide ad hoc support and analysis, inclusive of strategic findings and recommendations, to leadership to drive decision making for the leadership team.
  • Develop and maintain financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with regulations and company standards
  • Ability to build relationships across an organization, Collaborative and inclusive when working with others, a culture fit is vital for this role
  • Communicate effectively to all employees from non-finance personal to executive leadership.
  • Manage cash flow, working capital, and capital expenditure to optimize liquidity and maximize returns.
  • Stay current with accounting standards, regulations, and industry trends, and make recommendations for adjustments as necessary.


Skills & Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of related business experience
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
  • Strong financial modelling skills
  • Familiarity with accounting principles and financial statements.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in work.
  • Strong prioritization skills; proven ability to be successful in a fast-paced and rapidly changing work environment.
  • Proactive, highly motived, and innovative person who is not afraid to challenge the status quo.



Physical Requirements:

  • Remaining in a seated position for long periods of time
  • Standing is to remain on one’s feet in an upright position without moving about
  • The ability to alternate between sitting and standing is present when a worker has the flexibility to choose between sitting or standing as needed when this need cannot be accommodated by schedules breaks and/or lunch period
  • Lifting and transporting items that could weight up to 25 pounds
  • Entering text or data into a computer by means of a traditional keyboard
  • Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken work to impart oral information to clients and talent and convey detailed spoken instructions to other workers accurately and quickly
