HR Operations Director

Position: HR Operations Director
Type: Full-Time
Location: New York City, NY (Onsite 4 days per week, Mon-Thu)
Budget: $125-145K with a discretionary bonus opportunity
Size: 600 employees globally

Role Overview:

The HR Operations Director will play a critical role in managing and optimizing HR systems and processes for a rapidly growing SaaS marketing technology company. Reporting to Head of People, the HR Operations Director will oversee a team of two and ensure the seamless integration of HR systems, compliance with regulatory changes, and the accuracy of HR data. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing HR operations and will be based in New York City with a requirement to work onsite four days per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. System Integration and Management:
  • Ensure the integration of Workday with all peripheral systems, including benefits portals.
  • Implement Lattice, replacing Workday's performance management module, and ensure a seamless user interface.
  1. Reporting and Data Management:
  • Create and manage a suite of ad hoc reports in Workday.
  • Support key stakeholders with data-driven decision-making by running and analyzing ad hoc reports, with the assistance of an HR Systems Analyst.
  • Ensure the quality of data in Workday and track all people data accurately.
  1. Regulatory Compliance:
  • Stay apprised of regulatory and market changes.
  • Evolve HR processes and systems to ensure compliance with new regulations.
  1. Training and Development:
  • Work closely with Talent Management and Learning & Development colleagues.
  • Ensure HR and compliance trainings are administered and tracked effectively.
  1. Employee Onboarding and Offboarding:
  • Manage all aspects of employee onboarding and offboarding.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 7 years in HR Operations or related roles.
  • Expertise: Proven experience with HR systems integration, particularly Workday and Lattice.
  • Compliance Knowledge: Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and HR best practices.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in creating and managing reports in Workday.
  • Data Management: Strong skills in data quality management and analysis.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.

Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR operations and systems management, with a focus on Workday and Lattice. They will have experience in managing HR data, ensuring compliance with regulatory changes, and supporting data-based decision-making processes. The ability to work onsite in New York City and collaborate effectively with a diverse team is essential for success in this role.
