Email Marketing Manager

We are looking for a skilled Email Marketer to join our marketing team. This role will focus on managing and optimizing email marketing campaigns, SMS campaigns, affiliate marketing initiatives, and our refer-a-friend program and other digital marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in digital marketing, a knack for creating engaging content, and a strategic mindset to drive customer acquisition and retention through various channels.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive email marketing strategies to promote products, services, and special promotions.
  • Create, test, and optimize SMS campaigns to effectively engage with our customer base.
  • Manage affiliate marketing programs, including recruitment, communication with affiliates, and performance tracking.
  • Optimize our refer-a-friend program to drive customer referrals and acquisition.
  • Create and maintain a detailed monthly campaign calendar, ensuring timely execution and alignment with marketing objectives.
  • Serve as email marketing consultant for our global distributors to enable them create best-in-class email marketing capabilities.
  • Collaborate closely with creative and content teams to align messaging and overall look and feel for the campaign.
  • Segment email and SMS lists based on customer data and behaviors to maximize engagement and conversion rates.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics (e.g., open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates) and provide actionable insights to improve campaign effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with email marketing regulations (e.g., GDPR, CAN-SPAM) and best practices.
  • Develop strategies to grow the size of our email subscriber database while maintaining data accuracy and hygiene.
  • Conduct A/B testing on various elements of campaigns to optimize performance and ROI.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in email, SMS, affiliate, and referral marketing.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 4+ years of professional experience in email marketing, SMS marketing, affiliate marketing, and managing referral programs in B2C environment.
  • Hands-on experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., Klaviyo, Listrak etc.) and SMS marketing tools.
  • Experience with A/B or multivariate testing in emails
  • Experience with Litmus, Email on Acid, or similar tools for email inbox rendering and compatibility testing.
  • Understanding of IP reputation and deliverability.
  • Understanding of email analytics and KPIs, for reporting as well as optimizing campaigns for efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Experience with segmentation and personalization strategies to deliver targeted and relevant content.
  • Understanding of data security and regulatory measures that apply to consumer email marketing (CAN-SPAM, GDPR, etc.)
  • Understanding of affiliate marketing is a plus.
  • Experience with referral marketing strategies and tools is a plus.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Working knowledge of HTML and CSS
