Position Summary

This position is hybrid (HQ is in Newark, DE) but remote is an option for the perfect candidate.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of relevant experience as a conceptual agency or in-house copywriter
- Strong digital portfolio of work that features not only stellar copywriting, but strong, conceptual thinking. Candidates without a digital creative portfolio will not be considered.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in advertising, communications or related field. Certificate in copywriting from an advertising/creative portfolio program is a bonus but not mandatory.
- Experience writing and concepting for all facets of marketing communication including digital, social, television, content, radio, print, activations, etc.
- Innately curious: stays current on trends, culture, and current events, and brings inspiring external insight into the work.
- Proven ability to multitask and work autonomously and with agility.
- Proactivity in solving for any marketing and advertising opportunity or challenge.
- Impeccable attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Has a self-starting, can-do, positive attitude.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; Strong, persuasive presentation chops
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat.
Responsibilities
- Create smart and surprising ideas, advertising copy and creative executions of the highest quality for 18+ Home Services brands.
- Craft compelling, thought-provoking copy in a variety of tones and voices across all channels.
- Ensures that the creative output always pays off the creative brief.
- Oversee the concepting, presenting, and selling through of your creative ideas and execution.
- Collaborate and build relationships with both the creative team and cross-discipline marketing teams such as Strategy, Performance Marketing, Email and Web Developers and the CMO.
- Participates in radio/audio recording sessions, as well as TV/content/video pre-, during- and post-production.
- Continuously hones skills as a conceptual copywriter and creative thinker.
- Effectively applies feedback from VP, Creative Marketing, Marketing Team, and CMO.
- Ensures that the work always meets internal and media traffic deadlines.
