OVERVIEW Alera Group is looking for a Commercial Lines Technical Assistant. RESPONSIBILITIESAssist in servicing commercial accounts, including handling billing, endorsements, certificates, renewals, and policy documentation Follow all established and future Commercial Lines Department and Agency systems, procedures, and guidelines Research and resolve company or agency accounting discrepancies promptly Meet individual performance goals and objectives set by management Communicate effectively with CSRs, Producers, and Agency Management to resolve client issues or clarify information Provide backup and administrative support to Senior Commercial Lines Technical Assistants and the Sr. Claims Executive as needed Maintain thorough knowledge of commercial lines workflows, procedures, and agency operations QUALIFICATIONSHigh school diploma required; Broker's License to be obtained within two years of employment Minimum of 1 year of experience in an insurance agency or company setting Ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team environment Strong organizational skills with initiative and attention to detail Commitment to continuous professional education and development Demonstrated ability to perform essential job duties accurately and efficiently Willingness to accommodate and support an inclusive work environment for all qualified individuals ADDITIONAL INFORMATION This job requires presence in the office on a hybrid schedule as agreed with the manager.
