Your Responsibilities:
As a (OFP Manufacturing Engineer) for (Engine Works) located in (Waterloo, IA), you will….
• Provide support and basic trouble shooting for current operations. Investigates, gathers, and analyze data for specifically assigned, recurring tasks.
• Establish routings, methods, layouts, tools, costs, methods documentation, quality plans and labor standards for revisions to current operations and/or new parts or programs of limited scope.
• Develop and/or procure tooling and mistake proofing for new processes and/or new parts
• Participates in Continuous Improvement (CI) teams
What Skills You Need (Required skills/experiences)
• One or more years of demonstrated factory support and manufacturing engineering knowledge (routings, methods, layouts, tools, costs, capacity plans/line design, methods documentation, maintenance, quality plans and labor standards, troubleshooting, etc.)
• Work experience in a team environment
• Skills in interpersonal communications, negotiation, and conflict resolution•
What Skills You Need (Required skills/experiences)
Add skills and experience required to do the position. Limit to 5 -10 Max.
• One or more years of demonstrated factory support and manufacturing engineering knowledge (routings, methods, layouts, tools, costs, capacity plans/line design, methods documentation, maintenance, quality plans and labor standards, troubleshooting, etc.)
• Work experience in a team environment
• Skills in interpersonal communications, negotiation, and conflict resolution•
What Makes You Stand Out (Desired skills/experiences)
• Experience with SAP
• Knowledge of DC Electric torque equipment
• Understanding of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
• Robotics experience
Education
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology or related experience
Previous manufacturing, robotics, factory automation experience a plus.
