We are currently seeking an experienced advertising technologist to fill our Director of Programmatic Technology role. In this role, you will help manage, develop, and grow our ad operations department. You will collaborate with Media Buyers, Account Managers, and Analytics professionals, as well as lend your expertise to sales and marketing. You will drive business success by leading the implementation and adoption of programmatic advertising technologies and helping to guide the company towards delivering world class service to our clients.


Responsibilities

  • Lead the evaluation, integration, and adoption of programmatic ad technologies, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
  • Lead key initiatives such as DSP onboarding, supply quality controls, cross-platform campaign data unification, and ad tech integrations.
  • Identify opportunities for technology-driven innovation and growth.
  • Leverage technologies and services to support the optimization of ad operations processes and streamline workflow efficiencies.
  • Serve as point of escalation for technical issues/questions and provide support in troubleshooting active campaign issues such as creative specifications/compliance, ad trafficking, discrepancies, reporting, and ad tech integrations.
  • Provide training and mentoring on how to best utilize tools, services and platforms to deliver value to clients.
  • Collaborate with Account Executives and Account Managers to drive sales and account growth through innovation and technology-driven differentiators.
  • Facilitate the incorporation of technology-driven solutions in the development of complex media plans.
  • Perform periodic campaign analyses to evaluate QA, performance, and costs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including account management, sales, media buying, data analytics, and software engineering to guide alignment and adoption of programmatic technology and tools.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in programmatic advertising to drive innovation and growth.


Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience in programmatic digital advertising
  • Extensive experience with DSPs, ad servers, and programmatic measurement & attribution
  • Proven ability (via specific examples, references) to think outside the box and implement new technologies/soltuions
  • Ability to interpret data and turn insights into action
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Process-driven operational leadership skills
  • Experience managing people
