Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Sell hydraulic and pneumatic products to current and new accounts.
Develop personal relationships with regular counter customers.
Identifies and fulfills customer product and/or service requirements.
Fabricates hose assemblies to fulfill customer requirements.
Provides application assistance to customers.
Coordinates pickup transactions at the counter including locating and pulling orders as required.
Performs computer data entry related to all areas of store operations.
Inventories orders transfers receives and stocks shelves with new and replenishment inventory.
Maintains showroom appearance creates new displays and implements related marketing programs.
Maintain a safe clean and organized work area.
Opens and closes the store.
Serves as oncall for afterhours emergency service coverage.
Ensure that the highest level of customer service and ethical behavior are followed.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED and 510 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience;
Basic mechanical knowledge (will be given a mechanical aptitude test);
Excellent communication and work organization skills;
Good computer/keyboarding skills required;
Willing to work overtime including weekends and holidays ;
Must be willing to attend inhouse and external product and sales training as required;
Background in hydraulics and pneumatics helpful;
Store management experience helpful;
