Job Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Process Health and Safety Engineer at Flexible Technologies located in Abbeville, SC. As a Process Health and Safety Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting quantitative risk analysis, ensuring process safety, and managing process safety engineering activities. Your day-to-day tasks will include implementing process safety management programs, evaluating safety systems, and promoting a culture of safety within the organization.
The Individual
- Process Safety Management, Process Safety, and Safety Engineering skills
- Quantitative Risk analysis skills
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- 4+ years experience in manufacturing Health & Safety preferred
- ISO 45001 experience, OSHA compliance
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy in all work
- Ability to work effectively on own initiative and effectively contribute within a team environment
- Excellent communication skills (both written and oral)
- Proficient in the use of Excel and SPC
- Must already have or have the ability to obtain OSHA Certificatio.
