Position Overview:
The Senior Facilities Engineer will play a pivotal role in enhancing operational efficiency by focusing on minimizing equipment downtime. This position requires strong leadership capabilities to develop training initiatives and conduct root cause analyses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical assistance in the Facilities domain, including electrical, mechanical, and PLC support.
  • Support the production of LV, MV, and EHV electrical cables, emphasizing the management of facilities equipment such as HVAC systems, chillers, air compressors, and process water systems.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations regarding hazardous waste management, including proper labeling, storage, and transportation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address daily operational challenges.
  • Initiate and implement projects aimed at enhancing equipment reliability.
  • Guarantee that all products adhere to the Plant's Quality Management System standards.
  • Follow all safety protocols and ISO14001 Environmental Management System guidelines.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Maintenance Manager or other management personnel.

Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.

Experience:
  • A robust background in Electrical, PLC, and Mechanical engineering.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Maintenance and Facilities Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with CMMS systems and project management is advantageous.
  • Proficient in database management and various software applications, including spreadsheets.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting.

Preferred Skills:
  • Experience in electrical cable manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of chiller maintenance and optimization.
  • Familiarity with pollution control equipment such as baghouses and scrubbers.
  • Experience with compressor maintenance and optimization.
  • Understanding of high purity piping and gas delivery systems.
  • Knowledge of fire detection systems and power distribution systems, including UPS systems.

  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
  • Proficient in A3 problem-solving methodologies.
  • Leadership qualities, even in the absence of direct reports.
  • Excellent communication abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality.
  • A motivated team player capable of working independently.
