Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Manager to oversee all aspects of residential and commercial construction projects. The Project Manager will manage multiple projects simultaneously, from planning through construction and turnover, ensuring that all project elements such as scope, schedule, finance, risk, quality, and resource management are effectively handled.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Oversee multiple residential and commercial construction projects simultaneously, ensuring all project elements are managed from planning through construction and turnover.
  • Schedule Development: Create project schedules, distribute them to stakeholders, and manage them to meet key milestones.
  • Site Visits: Schedule and conduct regular site visits to ensure compliance with safety standards, scope, and schedule.
  • Collaboration: Work with estimators, buyers, designers, and other project support to formulate accurate estimates for business and project planning.
  • Quantity Takeoffs: Produce accurate quantity takeoffs from plans using takeoff software.
  • Invoice Management: Perform preliminary matching of invoices to Purchase Orders and apply proper cost codes to Field Purchase Order invoices.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 5-10 years of Commercial and/or Residential Construction Project Management experience.
  • Construction Knowledge: Strong understanding of modern construction methods and means.
  • Software Proficiency: Comprehensive understanding of MS Excel, MS Word, MS Project, and MS Outlook. Experience with Construction Management, Estimating, and Takeoff Software is preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret construction plans.
  • Ground-Up Construction: Experience with ground-up construction projects.
  • Organizational Skills: Must be highly organized and detail-oriented.
