Currently looking to hire a Sr. HRIS Manager


Summary:

Looking for someone with a Business Analyst/Technical Analyst background who has since moved into a Product Owner seat and understands the functions within Workday and ServiceNow. They must have strong people skills and be able to be the liaison between the tech and the business side. They must have experience managing a product and or relationships. The ideal candidate must have a passion for driving change and be customer obsessed. This person will own the end-to-end customer experience and help drive and influence the product roadmap to meet the customer needs.


Must Haves:

  • Strong People Skills
  • General Knowledge of the functionalities within Workday and ServiceNow (Need to be able to understand the tools and capabilities)
  • Must have managed a product before
  • Must be able to talk to development in order to create the scope for what needs to be done in order to maximize capabilities within Workday and ServiceNow
  • Must be comfortable working with other leaders within the organization
  • Must be comfortable leading various efforts and complex projects pertaining to all technology within the HR Operations value stream
  • The ability to bridge the technical and business worlds
  • Pluses: Workday Certifications


Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead the product development team, ensuring the successful delivery of roadmap releases and features while achieving product goals and KPIs.
  • Proactively address product development issues and escalate to senior leadership when necessary.
  • Conduct discovery sessions with internal stakeholders, validating opportunities and solutions to define and manage the product roadmap.
  • Direct the direction of features for design systems and break down the product vision into continuous value delivery.
  • Demonstrate ability to conduct high level needs analysis and produce reporting and data analysis
  • Demonstrate ability to plan, meet deadlines, and manage competing priorities. Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic work environment
  • Regularly report product metrics to leadership.
  • Ensure organizational readiness and keep development, design, and product teams informed.
  • Assist with product positioning and key messaging and be prepared for internal training and demos.
  • Actively Manage business relationships with respectful candor and hold the line on product mindset and be culture change agent.
  • Inform and support the product portfolio vision and ensure its alignment with overall business strategies and objectives
  • Manage resource pipelines to ensure timely delivery and proper support for products and services within the portfolio
  • Coach and develop a pipeline of talent within the organization
  • Identifies and documents business and technical requirements using standard templates
  • Monitors effectiveness of current business practices and identifies areas for improvement/innovation. Has exceptional skills and expertise of business processes, and IT systems related to application security
  • Exhibits strong facilitation and communication skills both written and oral and interacts with technical and business personnel
  • Ensure compliance with technical best practices, standards and policies
  • Responsible for providing recommendations to senior management for process and/or system improvements.


Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent certified practical experience; secondary degree preferred (e.g., masters, PhD)
  • Experience driving product roadmap, design, and execute against leadership overall strategy
  • Ability to deliver results in a complex, matrixed environment, driving alignment across multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to structure ambiguity, break down complex problems, and drive solutions
  • Strong communication skills with proven experience handling collaboration across executives and other stakeholders
  • Strong analytical skills, leading research, analysis, and data insights to inform decisions
