Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Oversight: Develop and manage property budgets, analyze financial performance, and provide recommendations for value maximization. Must be proficient in MS Excel and multifamily accounting systems like Yardi or LRO.
  • Property Management: Oversee third-party property management firms, monitor KPIs, and ensure optimal performance. Develop and implement processes for inspections and improvements.
  • Capital Planning: Assess property capital needs, recommend improvements, and manage capital projects based on market analysis.
  • Development/Acquisition Support: Conduct financial feasibility studies, due diligence, and market research for new investments. Assist in acquisitions and dispositions, and monitor market trends for repositioning opportunities.
  • General Duties: Stay updated on market trends, execute asset management strategies, and handle multiple priorities. Communicate effectively with stakeholders and present data professionally.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business, Finance, or Real Estate.
  • 3-5 years of asset management experience with multifamily properties (200+ units).
  • Expertise in Excel and experience with multifamily accounting/reporting systems.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Travel required with short notice.
