Our client has successfully secured large commitments for its latest renewable energy fund, demonstrating its strong position in the market and commitment to the energy transition.


The firm's strategic focus on infrastructure, service, and equipment assets within the renewable sector—including solar, wind, and battery storage and electric vehicle infrastructure—positions it at the forefront of addressing critical challenges in climate change and sustainability.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead transaction execution with autonomy, showcasing mastery in deal structuring, negotiation, and closure within the renewable and sustainable energy sectors.
  • Take charge of asset management, implementing comprehensive strategies to ensure portfolio companies achieve their operational and financial targets.
  • Proactively source and evaluate new investment opportunities, utilizing a deep understanding of the renewable energy market to identify high-potential deals.
  • Conduct thorough due diligence, collaborating with experts and advisors to assess potential investments' viability, risks, and opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with industry stakeholders, including entrepreneurs, other investors, and advisors, to build a robust pipeline of investment opportunities.
  • Represent the firm in industry events and forums, enhancing its visibility and reputation in the renewable energy investment community.
  • Lead internal teams, providing guidance and mentorship to junior staff and fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.


Candidate Requirements:

  • Between 7-10 years of experience executing renewable energy transactions on behalf of a private equity fund, investment bank, or developer.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead independently and close complex transactions.
  • Strong track record in asset management and value creation.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the renewable energy market and its key drivers.
  • Exceptional financial and analytical skills, with expertise in modeling and valuation.
  • Proven networking capabilities with a solid track record in sourcing new investment opportunities.
  • Excellent leadership qualities and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Commitment to ethical investment practices and a passion for sustainability and impact investing.
