Title: Valuations Analyst


Our investment process thrives on detailed business and financial analysis, coupled with a culture of robust debate. We blend a consulting-based approach to industry, competitor, and business analysis with a thorough examination of a target company’s financial performance and capital structure. Our aim is to select the best industries, companies, and relative value among the numerous securities each company offers.


We are currently seeking a Senior or Manager depending on level to join our team, reporting directly to the CFO. Responsibilities for this role include building and maintaining complex financial models of the group’s funds and managed accounts, contributing to strategic initiatives, evaluating financial trends, and recommending improvements. The manager will also assist in negotiating, structuring, operating, and analyzing financing structures and leverage vehicles. They will generate analytical frameworks used by the portfolio management team, investors, and other stakeholders, and conduct a wide range of research and analysis for portfolio management, investor requests, and internal analytics. The manager will work closely with the Portfolio Management team to address issues surrounding investment objectives and constraints within each fund’s investment mandate, including understanding asset classes owned within each fund such as bank loans, equities, and structured products. They will also collaborate with deal staff to address questions arising during the financial forecasting process.


Additionally, the manager will prepare and contribute to the communication of presentations for the Board, investors, and senior management for various recurring activities and industry update deliverables, including return information. They will be involved in evaluating certain processes and continuously seeking ways to improve them.


Qualified candidates should possess strong academic credentials and a proven track record of professional excellence. A minimum of 3-7 years of experience is required, with a strong preference for prior credit market experience. Excellent communication skills are essential, with the ability to synthesize complicated analyses concisely and articulate conclusions persuasively. A strong understanding of public and private capital markets, corporate securities, and capital structures is required, along with experience with financing products. Experience with modeling is a plus.
