Director Of Business DevelopmentThe Director of Business Development for the Infrastructure Solutions business unit will be responsible for driving the growth and expansion of our business on a regional scale, with a specific focus on large projects / AI Factories. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, and developing strategies to increase market share and revenue. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of success in a similar environment.Responsibilities:Identify and evaluate new business opportunities in global markets, with a particular emphasis on Neocloud, COLO and Hyperscale customers (AI Ecosystem)Strategic customer engagement: Collaborate directly with strategic customers, influencing their design decisions and securing Vertiv's products as the basis of design.Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry influencers.Conduct market research and analysis to stay informed about industry trends and competitive landscape in the AI Ecosystem.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including account managers, solution architects and product development, marketing et to ensure alignment and successful execution of business development initiatives.Prepare and present business proposals, reports, and presentations to senior management.Monitor and report on the performance of business development activities and adjust strategies as needed.Thought leadership: Represent Vertiv at industry events, conferences, and trade publications to showcase technical expertise and disseminate reference designs.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, with a focus on global markets.Proven track record of success in identifying and securing new business opportunities.Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Willingness to travel internationally as needed.Preferred Skills:Experience in the technology or infrastructure solutions industry.Knowledge of multiple languages and cultural awareness.Proficiency in CRM software and other business development tools.Travel:Between 50 - 70% domestic travelOur core principals:Safety.
