 Location: 789 Cortaro Dr Ruskin, FL 

Working Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Provide leadership, guidance, support and direction for center staff
  • Function as first contact for customer service issues
  • Plans organizes and administers a community recreation program for older adults including activities
  • Responsible for creating corrective action plans responding to members and staff incidents and coordinating emergencies with local EMS and the adjacent clinic
    Resolve complex issues rarely deferring to supervisor/manager
  • Coordinates staff work activities and monthly schedules in a timely manner
  • Ensures that the monthly calendar is in place ahead of time for the members to review and sign up
  • Mantains senior member data base (s)effectively. Produces monthly reports to show member statistics
  • Lead may need to be willing to travel within their own market for coverage, training, support needs
  • Represent the senior center at public and Professional meetings and conferences
  • Performs all other related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications: 

  • High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
  • 2+ years of customer service experience

  • Proven ability to train and mentor others
