Ruskin Animal Hospital is a well-established small animal general practice located just 30 minutes south of Tampa, caring for the pets of South Shore residents since 1971. We have been voted the best veterinarian in the South Shore area, providing exceptional medical care with an in-house pharmacy and a Cat Thyroid Center gaining regional and national recognition for its pioneering work in treating feline hyperthyroidism.

About This Opportunity
  • Care for exotic and pocket pets, offering comprehensive services to meet their unique needs.
  • Enjoy a 4-day work week with rotating Saturdays, no after-hours emergencies, and closed on Sundays.
  • Paid ultrasound CE during the first year of employment and access to cutting-edge equipment, including digital radiography and dental radiography.
  • A competitive salary range of $130-160K, plus production-based bonuses and up to $25,000 in bonus incentives.
Requirements
  • At least 1 year of experience working as a veterinarian.
  • A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or related degree from an accredited university.
  • Licensure in good standing to practice in the state in which the applicant is to be employed.
  • Commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics.
