Location: Framingham, MA
Job Summary:
As a scientist, the candidate will contribute to the development, characterization, testing and scale-up/down of automated and PAT (Process Analytical Technology) enabled mammalian cell culture process platforms for bio therapeutic manufacturing. The goal of this position is to advance innovation in our manufacturing capabilities by developing robust, scalable, automated, and data-driven cell culture processes for company’s diverse early and late-stage biologics pipeline. The candidate will work in a cross-functional environment and in close collaboration with members from the Cell Culture Development, Process Analytical Technology, Data Sciences, Automation Engineering and Bio analytics teams.
Must Have Experience:
- Master’s degree (2-4 years) or PhD degree (0-2 years) in Biotechnology, (Bio)Chemical engineering, Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field.
- Experience with mammalian cell cultures (CHO cells, HEK cells, HeLa Cells, CAR T cells OR T Cells
- 2+ years of pharma/biotech experience
- Hands on experience/coursework/knowledge with mammalian cell culture process development
- Coursework/knowledge with preference for hands on bioreactor operation (bench scale and/or pilot scale stirred tank bioreactors or wave bioreactors
